In the morning around 08:30, you will be picked up directly from your hotel in Sultanahmet or Taksim.
Our tour begins at the Hippodrome of Constantinople, once the social and sporting center of the Byzantine Empire. Here you will see the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpent Column, and learn about the transformation of the city from Byzantium to Constantinople and finally Istanbul.
Next, we visit the Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque), famous for its elegant architecture, six minarets, and stunning blue Iznik tiles decorating the interior.
We then continue with an exterior visit to Hagia Sophia. Built in the 6th century, Hagia Sophia is one of the most important monuments in the world and a powerful symbol of Istanbul’s layered history as a church, mosque, and museum.
Afterward, we proceed to Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years. During the guided visit, you will explore the palace courtyards and learn about Ottoman imperial life, traditions, and governance.
In the afternoon, we visit the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world, with thousands of shops selling carpets, spices, jewelry, textiles, and souvenirs. Enjoy free time to explore and shop.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Sultanahmet or Taksim
