Hagia Sophia: A former church, then a mosque, and now a museum, the Hagia Sophia is an architectural masterpiece that has stood in Istanbul for over 1,500 years. The building features intricate mosaics, stunning domes, and a rich history that spans multiple empires and religions.

Topkapi Palace: The Topkapi Palace was the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years and is now a museum that showcases the opulent lifestyle and traditions of the Ottoman court. Visitors can explore the palace's many courtyards, pavilions, and gardens, as well as view collections of Ottoman art, jewelry, and weaponry.

Blue Mosque: Also known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, the Blue Mosque is a stunning example of Ottoman architecture and design. The mosque features six minarets, a central dome, and intricate blue tiles that adorn the walls and ceilings.

The Hippodrome of Constantinople (also known as the Hippodrome of Istanbul) is an ancient chariot racing track that was once the center of Byzantine civic life. The Hippodrome was built by the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus in the 3rd century AD and was later enlarged and renovated by the Byzantine Emperors Constantine the Great and Justinian I.

Grand Bazaar: The Grand Bazaar is one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world, with over 4,000 shops and stalls selling everything from spices and textiles to jewelry and souvenirs. Visitors can browse the maze-like corridors of the bazaar and haggle with shopkeepers to get the best deals.

  • Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesday, it will be replaced with the Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan Sarnici).
