Today we will start our day from the heart of the old city by visiting: The Byzantine Hippodrome where the Egyptian Obelisk is standing, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace with Harem, and the Grand Bazaar.
You will have an early morning check out and a transfer to the airport and fly to Izmir. You will be transferred from the airport to Ephesus to join the Ephesus day trip. Visit the Greco–the Roman City of Ephesus which is one of the best-preserved ancient Roman cities in the world. Then drive up to the House of the Virgin Mary where it is believed she spent the last days of her life. This is an official pilgrimage and holy place for Christians. After lunch, we visit the temple of Artemis and the village of Sirince famous for her fruit-flavored wines.
Today we will drive to Pamukkale which is a UNESCO World Heritage site with its white calcified terraces. Lunch on arrival. Then visit the ancient city of Hierapolis right next to the white terraces with its Temple of Apollo, the Theatre, the Necropolis, and the thermal baths where Cleopatra and famous Roman general Mark Antony stayed for his honeymoon.
Today we check out and transfer to Izmir Airport for a flight to Kayseri-Cappadocia. On arrival at Kayseri Airport, you will be transferred to your cave hotel. The rest of the day at your leisure.
Optional Hot Air Balloon Flight offers a spectacular sunrise experience over Cappadocia.
The tour starts around 09:30 AM with hotel pick-up (exact time confirmed after booking).
Begin with panoramic views at Goreme Panorama, followed by a visit to Derinkuyu Underground City, the deepest underground city in the region.
Continue to Ihlara Valley for a scenic walk along the Melendiz River, passing rock-cut Byzantine churches. Lunch is served at a riverside restaurant in Belisirma.
In the afternoon, visit Selime Monastery, the largest rock-cut monastery in Cappadocia. The tour ends with a panoramic stop overlooking Pigeon Valley, before returning to your hotel around 5:00 PM.
After pick-up from your hotel, the tour begins at Uchisar Castle, the highest viewpoint in Cappadocia, offering panoramic views of the unique volcanic landscape.
Continue to Zelve Open Air Museum, an ancient monastic settlement with cave dwellings, tunnels and fairy chimneys. Then visit Cavusin Village, known for its abandoned Greek houses.
Lunch is served in Avanos, followed by a visit to a traditional pottery workshop, where Red River clay has been used since Hittite times.
In the afternoon, explore the iconic fairy chimneys of Pasabag and the imaginative rock formations of Devrent Valley.
The tour ends around 5:00 PM with return to your hotel. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul.
