DAY 1 Arrival in Istanbul (ISTANBUL)
WELCOME…! MERHABA…!
Transfer from airport or
cruise port to your hotel by private car. The rest of the day at your
leisure.
DAY 2 Istanbul Old City Tour
(B,L) (ISTANBUL)
Your guide will be meeting you
in the lobby at your hotel at 9 am. We will start our day from the hearth of
the old city with visiting; The Byzantine Hippodrome where the Egyptian Obelisk
standing, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace (Harem not included) and
Grand Bazaar.
DAY 3 Gallipoli Tour (B,L,D)
(CANAKKALE)
We will check-out and travel
to Gallipoli through the beautiful landscape of Thrace. Lunch on arrival in
Eceabat by Dardanelles. After lunch we will visit WWI Memorials; Anzac Cove,
original tunnels and trenches at Johnston Jolly, The Nek Cemetery, Chunuk Bair-
New Zealand Memorial, Lone Pine Cemetery-Australian Memorial and Brighton
Beach.
DAY 4 Troy, Pergamon Tour
(B,L) (KUSADASI)
We will start our day with
ancient city of Troy after a short drive which is an UNESCO World Heritage site
and one of the world's most important archaelogical sites. After Troy we
proceed to Pergamon. Explore Athena and Trojan Temples, Altar of Zeus and
Dionysos, Gymnasium of Youth, Odeon, Library, Agora, Great Hellenistic Theatre,
Roman Bath and visit ancient health center of Asclepion. After our
visits, drive to Kusadasi.
DAY 5 Ephesus Tour (B,L)
(KUSADASI)
Today we will visit the Greco
– Roman City of Ephesus which is one of the best preserved ancient Roman city
in the world. Then drive up to the House of Virgin Mary where it is
believed she spent her final days. This is an official pilgrimage and holy
place for Christians. After lunch we visit Temple of Artemis and Greek Wine
Village Sirince.
DAY 6 Pamukkale Tour (B,L)
(KUSADASI)
Today we will drive to
Pamukkale which is an UNESCO World Heritage site with its white calcified
terraces. Lunch on arrival. Then visit the ancient city of Hierapolis right
next to the white terraces with its Temple of Apollo, the Theatre, Necropolis
and the thermal baths where Cleopatra and famous Roman general Mark
Antony stayed for honeymoon.
DAY 7 Direct Flight to
Cappadocia (B) (GOREME)
Today we check out and
transfer to Izmir Airport for a flight to Kayseri-Cappadocia. On arrival to
Kayseri Airport, you will be transferred to your cave hotel. The rest of
the day at your leisure. Evening in Goreme.
DAY 8 South Cappadocia Tour
(B,L) (GOREME)
The first stop is at the
famous ‘Three Beauties of Urgup’, where you can see the mushroom-shaped rock
formations and a panorama of the city of Urgup. The next stop is in
Mustafapasa, which was originally known as Sinasos. Drive through Taskinpasa
which has some of the best examples of Selsjuk architecture in the district.
Then you visit Sobessos, a recently discovered archaeological site from the
Roman era, located near Sahinefendi village. Short walk in Soganli valley,
where there are many different churches, the next stop is in Derinkuyu, the
deepest underground city in the area, the last stop is just outside Uchisar,
where you have an opportunity to taste the famous local Cappadocian wines at
Kocabag winery.
DAY 9 North Cappadocia Tour /
Flight to Istanbul (B,L) (ISTANBUL)
We will start our day with
driving up to Uchisar Castle, which is one of the highest point of
Cappadocia. Then drive through Cavusin and Pasabag (Monks Valley) surrounded by
local vineyards. Lunch break in Avanos. After lunch drive through Devrent
Valley with its famous animal shape rock formations, the symbol of Cappadocia
known as Three Nices and finally Goreme Open Air Museum full of cave chapels,
churches with very well-preserved unique frescoes. After our day tour transfer
to airport for flight back to Istanbul.
